Kristyn Mackrell
Principle Occupational Therapist

Kristyn has a passion for providing high quality, client-centred care in the community setting. She has extensive experience supporting adults with neurodegenerative conditions, chronic diseases, and individuals requiring palliative care. Due to her hospital background, Kristyn seamlessly integrates medical healthcare models with community practices to empower clients throughout their healthcare journey. She has strong connections, working collaboratively with other allied health disciplines.
Kristyn is known for her personal and genuine approach to therapy. She is a natural advocate, listener and problem solver for her clients. Kristyn is a warm, direct, and transparent communicator, with an outstanding ability to connect with her clients and their supports to enable the highest-quality care.
Kristyn is a registered Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor, Level 1 Lymphoedema trained, and has strong report writing skills.
Kristyn currently specialises in working with:

Kristyn has established strong connections with a network of industry professionals, including equipment suppliers and representatives, small industry providers, as well as experts in smart home automation and skilled carpenters for home modifications. She also collaborates closely with vehicle modifiers and other occupational therapists specialising in paediatric and mental health care. These relationships enable Kristyn to offer comprehensive, well-rounded services, ensuring that her clients have access to the best resources and expertise available to meet their unique needs.
